Opens a page

Syntax

OPEN(pageName; popupType)

  • pageName - the name of the page which is to be opened - Value type: string

  • popupType - specifies the position where the page will be opened - Value type: constant (optional) Possible values are

    • onpage - The popup page is opened in the visible center of the current page

    • onwidget - the popup page is opened right below the widget, on which the current user interaction took place.

    • oncell - the popup page is opened right below the table cell, on which the current user interaction took place

Remarks

  • pageName must be the name which is displayed for the page in Edit mode, not the Display name of the page.

  • If parameter popupType is specified, this page is opened as a popup on top of the current page. In this case,

    • the page can be closed with the CLOSE function.

    • if popupType is onwidget or oncell, the popup can be closed as well by clicking outside of the popup.

    • Whenever the popup page is closed, the On close action is called.

Example

  • OPEN("Page1") - opens the page with the name "Page1".

  • OPEN("Details"; onpage) opens the page with the name "Details" as a popup page, in the center and above the current page.
