# System requirements for on-premises installations

For on-premises installations, the following minimum system requirements must be met.

* 4 CPUs (virtual or physical)
* 16 GB RAM
* 40 GB hard disk space
* Docker version 20.10+ and docker-compose version 1.28+
* yarn version 1.22+ and nvm
* Depending on additionally functionality, firewalls must be configured to provide access to the following services:
  * Databases (MS SQL Server, MS Analysis Services, PostgreSQL)
  * SMTP server for sending emails
  * MS Active Directory (via LDAP connection)
